The Statesman Journal now offers RSS feeds. It only took them a year and a half to impliment them after I suggested it. I now track local news with Sage in Firefox and with Bloglines.

Bitty Browser is a small browser that goes on your web page and works just like a full size browser. It's sort of like a picture in a picture. You can display RSS or OPML feeds or any URL. Here's an example:
JAlbum is a free photo album generator written in Java so it works on any computer platform. Here's an example slideshow I made using the free version of the FotoPlayer theme which is a nice Flash based interface that adds audio (mp3), a guestbook (comments) feature and other nicities.
VMix is another place to store your video for free. This one allows each movie to be up to 200 Mb. It converts it to Flash and gives you a way to embed the movie on your own web page. They also offer a way to make slideshows. Here's an example:

ProfCast is a Mac (Tiger and up only) application which adds audio to Powerpoint or Keynote presentations and podcasts the presentation via RSS. Keep an eye on this one. Right now you can't edit. All you can do is record a live presentation.
